WOW, it was so amazing..especially to my daughters...My 13 year old was and has been so insipired by you.... She has big dreams of being like you one day. I hope her dreams come true. She is so thougtful and nice to everyone and "humorous"(like you). Today and yesterday she researched and made her first batch of molding choclate from white choclate adding color to some. She designed flowers like yours just in her head in her own little world. She is so artistic I am always being surprised by her amazing imagination. I really hope one day I will be able to bring her to the bakery in NJ. but only time will tell. We spend time together as a family competing on who makes the best desserts. My husband is gone all week and I work and go to school as well, brother age 3yrs. has Autism with non stop therapy, but I know one thing is for sure for us it is family time when we are making our sweets, laughing, and enjoying them even their brother is with us laughing and enjoying the mess with flour, and tasting the treats. She watches them continually and speaks right along with the people, she’s memorized every word. Frustration #2) Because of your influence my (not so little) girl has a chosen culinary arts program over law school. Choosing to be a Pastry Chef has become her goal in life. Now, I am not condemning the profession but I am concerned how saturated this market is and how financially difficult it may be for her. Gratitude #1) She now cooks for the family (formerly unheard of) with gusto. She is excited to try new things and is looking up recipes. The only thing she wanted from us last Christmas was your cookbook. Gratitude #2) I LOVE cake and white cake with white frosting has been my favorite (I still Love it) then she made the Red Velvet Chocolate Cake from your book. Now white cake is my second favorite. Now this last bit is just factual. My “baby” was all set to see you with her best friend they had third row seats. Her friend cancelled. She asked me if I would like to go. I realized an opportunity to spend one on one time with her was a gift. We are coming to Green Bay this Saturday, she is willing to push her (Not so skinny) mother in her wheelchair and sit in the handicap seats. However, my coming puts her seating even further back. I heard her talk to her sister in a voice that breaks a Mamma’s Heart… I won’t be able to see him close and I won’t have a chance to get on the stage. So, as with a thousands of other people I ask if you could call on her. We were told that we couldn't use our own cameras to take pictures of ourselves/our families with Buddy at the meet and greet for VIPs after the show, but that it wouldn't matter, because there would be a professional photographer taking pictures and we would be able to download them, email them, etc. Well, I found my daughter's picture with Buddy from last night, but all I seem to be able to do is to post a link to all 177 pictures on the website to Facebook or to Twitter -- I can't link to my daughter's picture specifically, and I can't download it or email it to myself or to anyone else. Is there any way at all to download my daughter's picture with Buddy to my own computer, so I can email it to her grandmother in NY and the rest of the family (without them having to scroll through 117 pictures), and so that I can have it to keep? She was so excited about meeting Buddy (and stayed up considerably past her bedtime to do so) -- I'd love to be able to actually be able to download and keep this special keepsake for her. Thanks! Her name is Dana Segal and she is a huge fan of yours. Dana is 11 years old and loss her mother tragically to a terrible accident 2 months ago. Dana is a brillant girl who loves to bake. Her birthday parties have always been around baking. One year was at a pastry shop in chicago, the following year was designing cakes in her house. but her last birthday her mom planed for her was she went with her best friends into the city to stay at the Dana Hotel and then do a cupcake tour of all the new places downtown. When I saw your show was coming I knew right away how special this would be for her. She has your books and has a signed picture of you also. I called her Dad and asked to bring her with me to show with my daughter Deena. He agreed this would be superb for her. If you are calling on any volunteers and can call on Dana it would be a memory I know she can cherish and hold in her heart next to some open wounds that are slowly healing!!! I had hoped to bring my daughter, but she had to have emergency brain surgery a month ago and I missed out on getting tickets, so we will have to catch you next time around. What I wanted to ask is if you would be signing books around town over the weekend? My daughter is a big fan, never misses your show and loves to bake cakes as well. I was hoping to be able to get you to sign a book for her as a special gift to her for her 15th birthday on the 15th of this month. She has had a pretty stressful year dealing with debilitating migrains and on 0ct. 11th she had surgery to remove 3 cysts from her brain that were causing the fluid to build up in her brain causing these blinding headaches. She is doing great and is even back at school. God is good! I was hoping to make this birthday a special one. If not I would love to purchse a book and can come pick it if you had time to sign it for her, her name is Audrey.
